Bak Mie Khek means Hakka pork noodle and Garud is the street name. Today I review this noodle because I miss my hometown food so much. It’s noodle always serve with big mushroom and minced pork. They give a few soup and if you want more you can ask them to give you more soup. The best part of this noodle is the chili sauce, it’s very spice.

Bak Kut Teh @ Alor street
Last Saturday hang out at Bukit Bintang with my friends and their new classmates. We end up eating at Alor Street which is famous for the food place. This street always crowded and full with tourist. Well since this place is famous and also a place to hang out for tourist they make the food price a bit higher than the normal price. Like this Bak Kut Teh cost me MYR 11 which Rm for the Bak Kut Teh itself and MYR 1 for rice.
Well I don’t mind need to pay extra MYR 1 for it but if I really compare with the other at normal places not at tourist place surely there are some different. I did rather to eat this one. I can get more soup, better taste, vegetables, nice meat. ( Sorry this picture cannot showw the mushroom because when I took this picture I never intended to put it in blog )
For you who haven’t eat Bak Kut Teh, you should try it. It taste like herbal but it don’t have BITTER taste. Usually inside they put pork meat, mushroom and vege. Well, that a nice hangout which ended to back at 10 P.M. It’s not late but from Bukit Bintang to my hostel still far away.
Singapore Cuisine
Since the majority at this place are more to chinese so the cuisine is chinese style. That like a heaven for me since I study at Malaysia and hard for me to find chinese food at there.
One that never can be missed for not to be eaten is Roasted Pork Rice! Yummy!
In the menu it name spicy minced pork noodle but it come out not spicy and the pork weren’t minced. I ask the waitress and she said it right but still I am not sure rather she told me a lie or true. But still I like the noodle because it handmade as known for la mian.
Well this one not consider a chinese food but it’s famous at here, Malaysia and Indonesia (I don’t know is it also available at other countries). It is Nasi Lemak! The fragrant of the rice make everyone want to eat it.

I forget already what this food name is, I ate it at changi airport when went back to Malaysia. The prawn were taste so fresh.
Lovely sunset
It’s summer holiday to another part of the earth but it’s always summer at tropical place. I stay at tropic place where almost all day being passed by meeting super hot day. Even my holiday I spend to a tropic place also, this holiday I went to Singapore. That’s a good or I can say it is a clean and organized place where rubbish always stay at the place where they suppose to be (dustbin).
Well I stayed at Innotel which located at Penang lane and it’s really near to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. Well so far all the employer I met really nice and hardworking, the fast escalator at MRT station and the people inside MRT station walked fast. What can I said? Welcome to Singapore a lovely city to spend the holiday.
The first day was a tiring day or I can say the whole trip was tiring. Well we went to Marina Bay Sands for the first day, I went to the shopping mall and all inside the shopping mall was branded store. There also a casino there but unfortunately I still haven’t 21 so I cannot went inside. Still it’s evening I went to the food court and I ordered a ramen, the worst one is they use Korean instant noodle to cook it and it cost about 7$. I did rather buy instant noodle and cook by myself if I knew they would use instant noodle.
The best part wass the SkyPark itself, visitor can saw all around the city and even we could saw Batam island from the 57 level view. The beautiful sunset that day attracted visitors to take the picture included me.
One week after the rally
Its already one week after the bersih 2.0 rally, I am curious with the situation after one week at there so I go there. The situation at there already good. Lots of tourists went there. And what I find is new Food store! And there is a vegetarian stand at there, who knows after almost one year at here never eat vegetarian again until yesterday .
This place having a good interior with bamboo chair and bamboo table plus they use yellow color lightning making the space become homey feeling.
I take a few to try the taste of the food and it really delicious.
They have many menu to choose for the vegetarian food.
Happy Holidays
Finally my holidays come but it’s only 10 days holiday. First day of the holiday I spent it by hang out with my friends watching Transformers : the dark moon and eat sushi! Yeay! It’s sushi time! I take more cheaper sushi to eat since I love the soy sauce. Hectic day just finished yesterday now is to spending my holidays as happily as I can if not I will regret because the next holiday will be two more months to go.
